General Meetings Procedures & Guidelines

The General Meeting of the Organization shall be held in October of each year. All members in good standing may attend of the General Meeting.

We decided made the process of carrying out general meeting easier that is why we made the decision to host them via video conference.

If the representative designated by an organizational member cannot attend the General Meeting, another individual can represent the member as long as he/she has been given the necessary authority and faculties to do so.

The Organization shall give Members written notice of the date, time and place of each General. Such notice shall be given, either personally, by mail or electronic means, not less than fifteen (15) days before the date of the meeting. You can suggest possible conference themes at any time.

I am not sure if I was exposed to DES, can I still become a member?

Yes. If you think you may have been exposed to D.E.S, you are welcome to join. No proof is necessary.

All people who have questions and want to obtain answers on a possible DES exposure are welcome here.

We would like to create a DES diagnosis which would, finally, allow us to decide the question of exposure or non-exposure in a clear manner. We need a definitive answer to this question.

So feel free to join us now: we need your support executing this project!

Usually, The first generation means: the mothers who took the drug (desPlex®, Stilboestrol-Borne®…). They are also called DES Mothers. In the scientific field, it’s usual to use F0 to designate the DES Mothers.

DES Daughters and DES Sons are defined as The second generation: women and men who were exposed to DES before birth (in the womb), the daughters and sons of women who took DES. In the scientific field, F1 is used to designate the second generation. F1 means “first filial generation”.

Also, The third generation means: DES Grandchildren, direct descendants of children exposed in utero. In the scientific field, F2 is used to designate this third generation. F2 means "second filial generation".
